Training
On the job training is provided by our supervisors who have more than 25years experience in the cleaning industry.
Pay and Conditions
Employees at Super Shine Cleaning are paid in accordance with the standard award for cleaners in the ACT.

• be an Australian citizen or possess a visa that allows you to work in Australia;

FAQ's
Q.1 What type of work will I be doing?
The type of work that you will be doing generally includes collection of rubbish, vacuuming, cleaning of rest rooms and tea rooms, dusting and wiping of benchtops and computers etc. Some specific tasks may be required where specialised equipment is used (eg cleaning of floors using buffing machines etc) however specialised training will be provided in these circumstances.
Q.2 Where are the jobs?
Most of the jobs are located within the ACT and are centred around the CBD. Some are situated in the northern suburbs of Canberra as well as the southern fringes of the city.
Q.3 Do I need to have my own transport?
Yes. You need your own vehicle as you may be required to travel between jobs. If you are required to travel between several jobs and/or long distances, a travel allowance is paid.
Q.4 Do I need to have prior experience in cleaning? What training do you offer?
No previous experience is necessary. We provide full on the job training for newcomers and prefer to re-train those with prior experience to ensure that our stringent standards are adhered to and maintained.
Q.5 Will you be conducting interviews?
Yes. All applicants that are found to be suitable are interviewed prior to any position being filled.
Q.6 When will you be making offers to successful applicants?
We expect to be able make offers within 2-3 days of conducting the interview.
Q.7 Do you have positions for my son/daughter, aunty/uncle, mother/father etc
Generally no. These people will need to apply based on their own merits.
Q.8 Can I apply for a position if I'm not an Australian Citizen?
Yes, providing you have the appropriate working class visa to work in Australia.
Q.9 Do you have age limits for applicants?
We generally like to employ people between the ages of 18-65 but this depends on the individual. In some cases we may employ people outside of this age group.
Q.10 What are my working hours and how many hours will I work per week?
Most of our jobs are accessible between 5pm and 10pm Mon-Fri, however, some require an early morning start (for example 6am to 8am) depending on the clients requirements. We generally start you off with around 10-15 hours per week but can vary this accordingly (more hours or less hours depending on your personal commitments and your ability to take on more work)
